Samuel Omogo Foundation Brings Clean Water to Ever Success School, Restoring Hope and DignityABAKALIKI, EBONYI STATE — 22 May 2026 -

It was an atmosphere of overwhelming joy, gratitude, and celebration at Ever Success School, Oroke Onuoha, Mile 50, Abakaliki, as pupils, teachers, parents, and community leaders gathered to witness the official commissioning of a life-changing borehole project.The water well project, executed by the Samuel Omogo Foundation (SOF), marks yet another major milestone in the foundation's ongoing mission to provide clean and safe drinking water to rural communities and educational institutions across Nigeria.

End to Years of Water HardshipFor years, the school community endured a severe lack of access to clean and portable water—a persistent challenge that hindered effective learning, compromised health and sanitation, and disrupted daily activities. The successful completion of this motorized borehole project closes that difficult chapter and begins a new era of health and development for both the school and its surrounding neighborhood.

Speaking at the event, community representatives emphasized that the facility is far more than an infrastructure of pipes and concrete. Instead, it stands as a symbol of dignity and a brighter future that will drastically reduce the prevalence of waterborne diseases while boosting hygiene standards.A Global Collaboration of KindnessThe realization of the project was propelled by international solidarity and compassion. Special appreciation was extended to the students, staff, families, and parishioners of Light of Christ Academy and St. Ann Parish, whose generous donations and support funded the project.
